If you have an application needing chemicals mixed, liquids blended, solids suspended or dissolved, dispersion of immiscible liquids, or dispersion of small amounts of gases in liquids then consider a Madden Mixer. Madden offers four different models of mixers and has been doing so for over 60 years.

Let’s look at each mixer line.

AA102A

Spec’s

  • Speed: 1,725 rpm
    • (Option) Variable Speed: 200-2,000 rpm
    • (Option) Variable Frequency Drive: Nema 4 watertight enclosure, 1 Ph or 3 Ph power options, 4-20 mA signal follower for remote speed control. Controller would be installed remote from the mixer motor.
  • Propeller (1, 2, or 3)
    • 4” diameter, 3 blade marine type, material is 316 stainless steel
  • Shaft: 5/8” 316 stainless steel, up to 36” long
  • Motor: 1/3 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • For variable speed, motor: 1/3 HP, 200-2,000 rpm, inverter duty, TEFC
  • Mounting Options
    • Mixer motor foot pad for rigid mounting
    • Mixer motor mounted to a C clamp for portable mounting (Part number AA033)

Other Options:

  • Explosion proof motor
  • Washdown duty motor
  • 50 Hz motor

Common applications:
Used for vigorous mixing, generally in small tanks, up to 500 gallons in size.

AA103A
(Our most affordable mixer!)

Spec’s

  • Speed: 1,725 rpm
  • Propeller (1 or 2)
    • 4” diameter, 3 blade marine type, material is 316 stainless steel
  • Shaft: 1/2” 316 stainless steel, up to 30” long
  • Motor: 1/3 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
  • Mounting Options
    • Mixer motor foot pad for rigid mounting
    • Mixer motor mounted to a C clamp for portable mounting (Part number AA033)

Other Options:

  • Explosion proof motor
  • Washdown duty motor
  • 50 Hz motor

Common applications:
The AA103A is Madden’s most affordable mixer. Designed to be simple and durable, this little mixer can provide vigorous mixing in tanks up to 110 gallons in size.

 

AA104A/C/D/E

Spec’s

  • Speed: 345 rpm
    • (Option) Variable Speed: 40-400 rpm
    • (Option) Variable Frequency Drive: Nema 4 watertight enclosure, 1 Ph or 3 Ph power options, 4-20 mA signal follower for remote speed control. Controller would be installed remote from the mixer motor.
  • Propeller (1, 2, or 3)
    • 8” diameter, 3 blade marine type, material is 316 stainless steel
  • Shaft: 1” 316 stainless steel, up to 72” long
  • Motor:
    • A = 1/3 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • C = 1/2 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • D = 3/4 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • E = 1 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • For variable speed, motor: 1/3 HP or 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP or 1 HP, 200-2,000 rpm, inverter duty, TEFC
  • Gear Reducer: worm gear type, 5:1 gear ratio (other ratios optional)
  • Mounting Options
    • Mixer gear reducer flange. This is placed on a mixer bridge support structure which goes over the tank (Part number AA031 or AA032)

  • Washdown duty motor
  • 50 Hz motor

Common applications:
The AA104 model is designed with a sturdier shaft with the intention of use in larger tanks. Shaft lengths can be up to 72” and this mixer can be used in tanks up to 5,000 gallons in size.

 

AA110C/D/E

Spec’s

  • Speed: 57 rpm
    • (Option) Variable Speed: 6-66 rpm
    • (Option) Variable Frequency Drive: Nema 4 watertight enclosure, 1 Ph or 3 Ph power options, 4-20 mA signal follower for remote speed control. Controller would be installed remote from the mixer motor.
  • Turbine (1, 2, or 3)
    • 16” up to 24” diameter, 4 blade turbine, material is 316 stainless steel
  • Shaft: 1.25” 316 stainless steel, up to 96” long
  • Motor:
    • C = 1/2 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • D = 3/4 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • E = 1 HP, 1725 rpm, TEFC 1/60/115-230 or 3/60/230-460
    • For variable speed, motor: 1/3 HP or 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP or 1 HP, 200-2,000 rpm, inverter duty, TEFC
  • Gear Reducer: worm gear type, 30:1 gear ratio (other ratios optional)
  • Mounting Options

Common applications:
And finally, Madden’s AA110 mixer model is designed to handle your largest and toughest mixing jobs. These mixers utilize a solid 1.25” shaft reaching lengths up to 96”. These features paired along with a 16-24” turbine will allow you to mix just about anything!
